ABOUT THE AUTHOR Member Mort Mazor volunteers as the director of public relations for BRCS. He has written numerous articles about people and community affairs that have been published in the Palm Beach Post “Neighborhood Post” editions, The Sun-Sentinel, Boca Raton News and Upbeat Senior Magazine, where he also worked as Managing Editor. His recently published book "My New York 1939-1985...and what happened afterward" is an eclectic collection of autobiography, people profiles and works of fiction and non-fiction. It is on sale at www.amazon.com. He also serves as First Vice President of the Alliance of Delray Residential Associations and a board member of the Swing & Jazz Preservation Society, serving both as Communications Director. During season, he teaches a course at Kings Point on “How to Write The Story of Your Life.” Mort, known by his nickname “Mickey” to friends and relatives, lives in Delray Beach with wife Lucille. They have two sons, three grandsons and one great-granddaughter — the first girl in the family in four generations. SEPTEMBER 2006 | |
