As I announced at our last meeting our longtime Treasurer and Board member Lorraine Krupowries has passed away. Lorraine was a long time BRCS member as well as a valued member of the Board of Directors for some twenty years. Her passing will certainly have an effect on the smooth functioning of our organization. She will be missed as a friend, colleague and an integral part of the BRCS family.
We are in need of a Treasurer for our Society. I am certain there are many members who are more than capable to fulfill this essential role. Now is the time to step forward and volunteer to support your BRCS family in meeting its’ needs. Remember our motto: “Members Helping Members”. Think of all the help you have received from BRCS and choose to step forward and help BRCS at this time.
We also have an opening for a new Program Chairperson. This position is responsible for locating speakers from various organizations that can present programs of interest to us as BRCS members. Speakers may come from such places as software or hardware companies, experts in various areas of computing and/or those individuals who can present programs on an array of topics of interest to us as PC Users.
The vibrancy and interests of our group is served through the obtaining of interesting presenters at our monthly meeting. We will provide you with help and guidance in meeting the needs of our organization.
